Dream I Die is a solo metal/rock music project based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The project started as an idea for just musical output, but has become more than that. While the focus is on musical creativity, I also create all of the artwork and social media content for each release. I'm open about how I create the music and artwork and like to share the creative process through blog posts on this website.
The project draws inspiration from a variety of metal bands that span multiple decades and subgenres such as nu-metal, metalcore, djent, progressive metal, and others. Bands such as: Tool, Linkin Park, KoRn, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Periphery, and all the way up to modern acts like: Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, and Spiritbox have been influential.
I have zero tolerance for A.I. use in art and will be producing all music and imagery by myself. The goal isn't to produce a lot of content very fast, but instead to produce more meaningful content that instead takes time to create and also takes time to consume.
