Dream I Die started as an idea for just musical output, but has become more than that. It is a way to feature my personality on multiple fronts utilizing music, graphic design, and personal thoughts to communicate. I want to share the journey of each song and the thought process that I have during the creation.
The project draws inspiration from a variety of metal bands that span multiple decades and subgenres such as nu-metal, metalcore, djent, progressive metal, and others. Bands such as: Tool, Linkin Park, KoRn, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Periphery, and all the way up to modern acts like: Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, and Spiritbox have been influential.
I have zero tolerance for A.I. use in art and will be producing all music and imagery by myself. The goal isn't to produce a lot of content very fast, but instead to produce more meaningful content that instead takes time to create and also takes time to consume.
